At a glance
- What it bonds
- Insulation and cover boards
- Type

- Coverage
- Up to 4,800 linear feet of a 1-inch bead per 22 L canister — 48 roofing squares at 12 inches on center
- Time
- 5-minute open time; 15-minute handling strength
- Equipment
- M160-18 18-inch Wand Foam Adhesive Spray Gun; M180-12 or M180-18 hose
Use it when
- 01You are attaching insulation boards to the deck or to each other
- 02You are attaching a cover board over insulation

Substrates listed in the data sheet
- Metal deck
- Cover board
- SPF (spray polyurethane foam)
- Structural or lightweight concrete
- Smooth or granulated modified bitumen
- Smooth BUR
- Wood / fiberboard
- Painted or galvanized steel
- Paper or coated glass facer insulation board

Always confirm the current TDS and the roof-system requirements for the substrate you are bonding to.
How to apply
- 01Confirm the current TDS and SDS and the roof-system requirements for the assembly you are installing.
- 02Set up the M160-18 wand gun with an M180-12 or M180-18 hose. The TDS requires the M160-18 gun with this product.
- 03Test-dispense until the adhesive comes out straight in a foamed 1-inch bead, then apply beads to a clean, dry substrate in the pattern the wind-uplift requirements call for.
- 04Bond within 5 minutes of application, or while the adhesive still transfers to a gloved finger. If it no longer transfers, reapply before bonding.
- 05For best results, place weights such as recycled tires or sand-filled pails on the boards for 15–20 minutes at 70°F, or until the adhesive achieves adequate bond strength.
- 06Bonded surfaces begin to cure in about 15 minutes; full cure is 24 hours, and cure time is extended at lower temperatures.

Packaging, storage and temperature
- Packaging
- 22 L disposable canister
- Shelf life
- 12 months from date of manufacture
- VOC content
- 0 g/L (SCAQMD Rule 1168 compliant)
- Full cure
- 24 hours, dependent on temperature and humidity
On the roof
- The canister sprays adequately above 60°F and should be kept in a warm area.
- Ambient temperature should be 25°F and rising.
- If the canister is abnormally chilled, freezes, or sprays poorly, warm it before continued use. Heating blankets or hot boxes help hold canister temperature.
- Cure time is extended at lower temperatures.
Storage and canister change-over
- Store between 60°F (15°C) and 120°F (50°C).
- Do not store directly on a concrete floor or in direct sunlight.
- While the hose is connected, keep the canister valve open and the hose pressurized, and dispense at least once every 30 days so adhesive does not cure in the hose.
- Release hose pressure before disconnecting, then connect to a new canister right away — or connect the hose to a canister of cleaning solvent to flush it out.
- Clean excess adhesive before it cures for easier removal.
Flammable chemical under pressure. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area; wear gloves, protective clothing, eye and face protection, and respiratory protection. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.
