Which adhesive is for insulation and cover boards?
UNO-FOAM®. It is the 48 square insulation adhesive for attaching insulation and cover boards in commercial roofing systems — one canister, no on-roof mixing.

What are the QD part numbers for UNO-FOAM and UNO-GRIP?
UNO-FOAM® | QD3000 and UNO-GRIP™ | QD2040. The UNO names are primary; the QD numbers are the secondary identifiers used on data sheets and ordering documents.
Coverage & timing
How much area does UNO-FOAM cover?
Up to 4,800 linear feet of a 1-inch bead per 22 L disposable canister — at 12 inches on center that covers up to 4,800 square feet, or 48 roofing squares, depending on application. Coverage depends on pattern and conditions.
How much does UNO-GRIP cover?
The 22 L disposable canister covers up to 10 squares / 1,000 sq ft of bonded area. Enter the area you are bonding (QDEK Catalog ECR26-003, page 3). Coverage varies by application.
What are the open and cure times for UNO-FOAM?
5-minute open time, 15-minute handling strength, and 24-hour full cure.
How long does UNO-GRIP take to dry?
Typical dry time is 2–4 minutes, with 1+ hour open time. Conditions affect timing.
How long until UNO-GRIP reaches ultimate strength?
Ultimate strength develops in 1–3 days.
What is different about applying UNO-FOAM compared with a two-part system?
UNO-FOAM® is a one-part canister system: the adhesive is already mixed, so there is no on-roof mixing, no mixing cart or mixer straws, and no mixed material left over. Output depends on bead pattern, temperature, humidity, and project conditions.
What canister sizes are available?
UNO-FOAM®: 22 L disposable canister. UNO-GRIP™: 22 L disposable canister.
Application & equipment
Does UNO-FOAM require on-roof mixing?
No. It is a one-part system, correctly mixed in the canister.
What equipment does each product require?
UNO-FOAM® requires the M160-18 18-inch Wand Foam Adhesive Spray Gun with an M180-12 or M180-18 hose. UNO-GRIP™ is applied with a spray gun fitted with the UniJet 11002B adjustable 7–17-inch spray tip, which is included.
How is UNO-GRIP applied?
Apply adhesive to both surfaces to be mated, at 80% to 100% coverage, allow 2–4 minutes or until dry to the touch, then mate the parts with as much pressure as practical. Follow the current TDS for the roofing system you are installing.
What are the VOC levels?
UNO-FOAM®: 0 g/L under SCAQMD Rule 1168. UNO-GRIP™: 75 g/L under SCAQMD Rule 1168.
What spray pattern does the UNO-GRIP field gun produce?
The UniJet 11002B tip gives an adjustable 7–17-inch spray pattern.
Does UNO-GRIP resist heat?
The current UNO-GRIP™ TDS lists high heat resistance. Follow the TDS for the roofing system and service conditions on your project.
