A QDEK-bonded roof assembly, put through the roofing industry's wind-uplift test by an independent laboratory.
What the report says
- Test method
- ANSI/FM 4474 simulated wind-uplift test, 5 × 9 ft chamber, pressure increased in 15 psf steps and held 60 seconds at each step.
- Tested assembly
- 50-mil FiberTite Fleeceback PVC over DensDeck and 2-inch polyiso on 22-gauge steel deck.
- Adhesive name in the report
- QDEK 3000 roofing adhesive; current product naming is UNO‑FOAM® | QD3000.
- Result
- The defined assembly met the 90 psf passing grade. Testing continued to 135 psf; the observed failure occurred at the cover-board facer, not at the QDEK adhesive bond.
